Netflix just released a new trailer for Marvel’s Luke Cage and they threw in a few surprises for fans.
Classic superhero suits aren’t the norm in the current comic movie and television landscape but that doesn’t mean creators are completely oblivious to fans wanting them. Case in point: this new Luke Cage trailer.
Overall this one isn’t quite as “fun” as the Comic-Con trailer but we see a lot more. We’ve already been convinced of Mike Colter’s awesomeness but we get more this time around of Mahershala Ali plus first looks at Alfre Woodard’s Mariah Dillard and Simone Missick’s Misty Knight.
The episodes will hit Netflix September 30.

This looks so good. Music for this one isn’t as good as the teaser.
As good as I hear Daredevil is, I’ve never been that interested, and as good as I hear Jessica Jones was I haven’t worked up the nerve to watch it yet. But this. This I want to see.
Jessica Jones is, to date, my favorite MCU production!

I heard someone mention the look in passing on twitter this morning before I got to watch and was like, “Huh, how are they going to explain that?” And then they did. Perfectly.
Why can’t he wear the tiara & bracelets all the time? Wonder Woman cosplay is way cooler than some mundane hoodie.
The hoodie is intentionally evocative though.
