Two Roswell Actors Are Reuniting For a Very Intriguing Netflix Campaign Called Baron + Toluca

BaronAndToluca

Remember the late ’90s, early 2000’s WB show Roswell? You may want to sit down. Don’t call it a comeback but something is happening and it may be happening on Netflix.

From Jonathon Dukes and Jason Katims, Roswell originally aired on The WB before moving to UPN and starred Shiri Appleby as Liz Parker, Jason Behr as Max Evans, Katherine Heigl as Isabel Evans, Brendan Fehr as Michael Guerin, Majandra Delfino as Maria DeLuca, and Colin Hanks as Alex Whitman. It was so of its time and fit perfectly in with the WB crowd at the time plus it was sci-fi, so I loved it. If you hadn’t already guessed, it was about aliens in Roswell, New Mexico posing as teenagers.

Well social media is aflutter with some vague information about Fehr and Delfino teaming up again.

When you head to the official website you get this message…

And then…

WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN?!?!?!

Ok, another click got me to this summary:

Life begins to imitate art, when Baron and Toluca find themselves in a familiar part of New Mexico

Despite their torrid past, they team up in a frantic attempt to unravel a paranormal mystery threatening to kill them both

Here’s hoping they figure it all out in time… if they can just keep from killing each other first…

The Facebook page doesn’t offer much of anything either. Twitter is no help with the actors retweeting things like:

And tweeting:

What do you think? Looks like it’s certainly not an official Roswell spinoff but the two are trying to pick up their chemistry on screen as different characters (Baron and Toluca = Guerin and DeLuca). I, for one, am down. If you are as well you can help make it happen by tweeting at Netflix as their about us page suggests.

I remember liking Delfino in something else, and have always liked Fehr in pretty much everything. Never watched much Roswell, but I’ll give this a try for the above stated reasons.

I watched Roswell on Netflix over a couple of weekends. Heigl looked so much older than the other “teens” that it’s understandable why the last season they had her marry a dude and all that. It was weird.
