SDCC: Marvel/Netflix’s Luke Cage Trailer Hits All the Right Notes, Plus Iron Fist, & The Defenders

San Diego Comic-Con 2016 is full steam ahead and Marvel and Netflix have debuted new videos to promote Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and The Defenders.

After a sabotaged experiment leaves him with super strength and unbreakable skin, Luke Cage (Mike Colter) becomes a fugitive who attempts to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem, New York City. But soon he is pulled out of the shadows and must fight a battle for the heart of his city – forcing him to confront a past he had tried to bury.

Luke Cage will premiere on Netflix September 30 but Iron Fist is currently filming. They did have a few things to show us though.

And since The Defenders isn’t filming just get, we get a non-footage teaser for the team-up series.

Also this SDCC sizzle reel gives us a few other looks at Luke Cage.
