Sorry things have been so quiet around here lately. Holiday madness is to blame but also some life stuff. Don’t forget to check out my new holiday gift guide for ideas as well as good deals on stuff for your loved ones. And in case you missed it, I’ve got an open thread dedicated to the Gilmore Girls revival.

In case you were wondering, the top pic I chose this time around comes from the 2012 film Vamps starring Sigourney Weaver, Krysten Ritter, and Alicia Silverstone. It’s terrible, don’t watch it. But apparently some folks were passing off a behind-the-scenes shot as a first image from Marvel’s The Defenders. Don’t believe the hype, it will come soon enough.

Finally saw Doctor Strange. I read some of his early issues ages ago, so I knew enough to appreciate how faithful they were able to be. Had to wrack my brain for a bit to figure out how the Eye of Agamotto fit with the Infinity Stone T.H.A.N.O.S. Theory, but I finally got it: Necklace.

Was hoping to see Fantastic Beasts this weekend, but my friends couldn’t get a babysitter and apparently taking a two-year-old to the movie/leaving her by herself weren’t an option, so instead we hung out at their place and I played a few episodes of DC Superhero Girls and MLP:FiM for the kid on my iPad. Oh, I am gonna corrupt her in all the right ways… :D

  4. HOW terrible is Vamps? Like, worth watching once or…?

I won’t be sticking a reminder that I have a webcomic ya’all might like here…because it’s currently on hiatus while we get a side project together, my friend and artist, Val, pulls in extra hours at work, and I cry because the further from the comic I am the sadder I get.
