[UPDATED] The Star Wars Forces of Destiny Animated Shorts Arrive For Untold Adventure!

Disney and Lucasfilm have debuted their highly-anticipated female-led Star Wars Forces of Destiny animated shorts on YouTube!

Last week we got our first official trailer that let us know adventure was on the way with some of our favorite characters from the universe. Rey, Jyn Erso, Princess Leia, Sabine Wren, Padmè Amidala, Ahsoka Tano and more will get their own mini-stories while Maz Kanata (Lupita Nyong’o) narrates.

Rey is voiced by The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi star Daisy Ridley and is already traveling with BB-8 when we catch up with her here, but there’s a surprise in store. Writer Jennifer Muro told Critical Blast, “I really enjoy fact that these characters are getting a voice individually and seeing small moments time that are told from their point of view. It will also be nice to see some team-ups we haven’t seen before.”

A new short will premiere online each day so I’ll be updating this post when they arrive. If you’re not a fan of watching stuff on your computer, the shorts will be broadcast on the Disney Channel Sunday, July 9.
