Half & Half
Less viral marketing, more straight up movie is what we got this week. Why So Serious, one of the sites that’s kept us shaking in anticipation like a heroine junky for anything Dark Knight related, has a thirty-second clip from the film. It features our man Harvey Dent freshly um, from the oven. You don’t really see much, but it’s enough to know his would be a tough face to wake up to in the morning.
Yeah, mask of the phantasm was great.
I hear you on that, my friend.
For years I have been telling people that they need to let Paul Dini get a crack at doing a live action Batman movie. You ever see Mask of the Phantasm? Best Batman movie EVER. Bar none.
Batman is a classic tragic hero. hell, he’s the definition of the term. The guy was like 8 years old and saw his parents gunned down right before his eyes. How much more tragic can you get?
And finally, with Batman Begins and the new Dark Knight movie, fans are getting to see exactly how I view this character.
And I haven’t even gotten around to explain the Joker. LOL
It’s ridiculous how much I’m looking forward to this movie.
Now, see, THIS is the movie I’m looking forward to the most. As I’ve been unemployed for most of this year so far, my wife and I have been waiting to see our films until they hit the second-run, cheapie theater near us.
Iron Man and Indy haven’t hit there yet. Speed Racer is coming there next week.
However, we both agree that we want to see Batman the opening week. I judge my comic movies now on whether or not my wife likes them.
She liked Batman Begins, the first two Spider-Man movies, Sin City and the first FF movie the best so far.
She does want to see Iron Man and Dark Knight.
