TheNerdyBird.com is run solely by me, Jill Pantozzi, and supported by users through Patreon. There is no staff like at the Daily Planet. There are also no ads.

That said, I’m often approached by folks who want to promote their crowdfunding campaign, comic books, books, or other creative endeavors on my site. Sometimes this will lead to interviews or reviews but as a personal policy, there are just too many of these for me to possible cover them all so I normally say no.

With that in mind TheNerdyBird.com may offer the creator an opportunity to promote their own work on the site through a promotional post. This is to be taken as “advertising” though no money has exchanged hands. It’s a way for a creator to show their passion for their project in their own words and get more eyes on it. Posts of this nature will be clearly marked as such and do not necessarily mean TheNerdyBird.com agrees with the statements or opinions made by the author. TheNerdyBird.com is not currently looking for regular contributors as our financial status cannot support them at this time. We hope to be able to take them on down the road once the Patreon has grown to a sustainable number.
