Killjoys’ Hannah John-Kamen Joins Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp

Killjoys star Hannah John-Kamen will be joining Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly for Marvel Entertainment’s Ant-Man and the Wasp when it’s released on July 6, 2018.

There hasn’t been a lot of chatter about Ant-Man and the Wasp lately, in fact, Variety reports this as the first major casting for the sequel set to be directed by Peyton Reed.

Variety says Marvel did not give comment but had this to report: “The plot is being kept under wraps, as are details about who John-Kamen will be playing. Marvel had been meeting with actresses over the past month before finally being won over by the rising star.”

John-Kamen has been doing a lot of genre work as of late. Besides her starring role in Syfy’s Killjoys she’s also had roles in Game of Thrones, Black Mirror, and has a blink-and-you’ll-miss-her scene in Star Wars: The Force Awakens (she was a First Order Officer). She’ll also star in the upcoming Tomb Raider reboot and the adaptation of Ready Player One.

Killjoys will return to Syfy for its third season on June 30th.
