Bob’s Burgers Movie, You’re Gouda to Go!
I scream, you scream, we all scream for Bob’s Burgers on the big screen! It’s all happening!!
Bob’s Burgers recently won an Emmy for Best Animated Program but they’re about to get an even bigger moment – their own feature film!
The Hollywood Reporter explained 20th Century Fox would be moving ahead with creator Loren Bouchard and Fox Animation on a Bob’s Burgers movie to be released in theaters July 17, 2020. Bouchard said of the exciting news:
We know the movie has to scratch every itch the fans of the show have ever had, but it also has to work for all the good people who’ve never seen the show. We also know it has to fill every inch of the screen with the colors and the sounds and the ever-so-slightly greasy texture of the world of Bob’s — but most of all it has to take our characters on an epic adventure. In other words, it has to be the best movie ever made. But no pressure, right?!
They weren’t specifically mentioned in the piece but presumably the cast of the TV series will reprise their rolls: H. Jon Benjamin (Bob Belcher), John Roberts (Linda), Dan Mintz (Tina), Kristen Schaal (Louise, my Patronus), and Eugene Mirman (Gene). The show is fantastic and just began it’s eighth season on Fox.
