#LeiaIsWithUs – Let’s Honor Carrie Fisher Opening Night of Star Wars: The Last Jedi
I miss Carrie Fisher. So much. And the new trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi reminded of that again. Of course, I’m not alone.
i know we're all gonna cry when Carrie Fisher comes on the screen but I feel she'd be like "okay shut up now, you can't hear my lines."

I’m probably going to be crying through every one of her scenes, she’s just going to have to get over it. I’ll catch her lines on the second viewing.
But earlier today I thought, “Wouldn’t it be nice if Leia was represented opening night in some big way by the fans?” So I came up with this idea – #LeiaIsWithUs. Because she is. And she always will be. Leia and Carrie.
Every time I see promo for #TheLastJedi I feel a pang in my heart over Carrie Fisher. I'm going to be an ABSOLUTE mess when I see the film.

I think we should all wear at least one piece of Leia flair when we see #TheLastJedi opening night to honor her. #LeiaIsWithUs pic.twitter.com/R3W7iWe5cu

Spread the word and use the hashtag – #LeiaIsWithUs

So opening night, whether that’s Thursday, December 14th or the “real” opening night Friday, December 15th, wear some Leia flair. T-shirts, costumes, wigs, pins, shoes, action figures – whatever you’ve got! And share pictures on social media with the hashtag I created, #LeiaIsWithUs. If you weren’t able to get tickets for opening night, wear your gear opening weekend or really any time you get to see the film. For Carrie.
I did the thing. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/d1db2d00d087f88cff08700ee07a751e792fcc0b18c7f64db854f7254b439556.jpg
It will be done
Glitter. Carrie anointed her chosen with glitter, and so I shall glitter like a princess on opening night.
