#LeiaIsWithUs – Let’s Honor Carrie Fisher Opening Night of Star Wars: The Last Jedi

I miss Carrie Fisher. So much. And the new trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi reminded of that again. Of course, I’m not alone.

I’m probably going to be crying through every one of her scenes, she’s just going to have to get over it. I’ll catch her lines on the second viewing.

But earlier today I thought, “Wouldn’t it be nice if Leia was represented opening night in some big way by the fans?” So I came up with this idea – #LeiaIsWithUs. Because she is. And she always will be. Leia and Carrie.

So opening night, whether that’s Thursday, December 14th or the “real” opening night Friday, December 15th, wear some Leia flair. T-shirts, costumes, wigs, pins, shoes, action figures – whatever you’ve got! And share pictures on social media with the hashtag I created, #LeiaIsWithUs. If you weren’t able to get tickets for opening night, wear your gear opening weekend or really any time you get to see the film. For Carrie.

Glitter. Carrie anointed her chosen with glitter, and so I shall glitter like a princess on opening night.
