The First Image From the New Disney XD DuckTales Series Is Here!
Not too long ago we got a rehash of the classic DuckTales video game. Now it’s time for the show to return! Scrooge McDuck joins Donald, Huey, Dewey Louie, and Webby for an all new Disney Television Animation series.

This new series once again stars Scrooge McDuck, grandnephews Huey, Duey, and Louie, and of course, Donald Duck. Based on this image, this new series will once again feature the kind of comic misadventures the original show was so well known for. As for the style, this is decidedly traditional, borrowing from the streamlined graphic style of the insanely popular Mickey Mouse short series.

It may be streamlined but it doesn’t look too far off from the original. There aren’t too many other details at this time but it’s probably safe to say we’ll also be seeing favorites like Mrs. Beakley, Gyro Gearloose, and Launchpad McQuack plus villains Magica De Spell, Flintheart Glomgold, and the Beagle Boys.
The new DuckTales will debut in 2017 on Disney XD. Will you give it a try?
