Hayley Atwell & the Agents of SHIELD Enter Into Dubsmash Wars For Charity
Marvel Entertainment breakout star Hayley Atwell was single-handedly making a name for the lip sync app Dubsmash posting hilarious videos of not just herself but other geek favorites like Doctor Who’s Billie Piper and Ron Perlman. But things quickly spiraled out of control at San Diego Comic-Con this summer when the Marvel gang were in the same space and Atwell, along with fellow Agent Carter start James D’Arcy and the cast of Agents of SHIELD decided to go head to head.
The results were an explosion of fan joy so they figured, why stop there? The actors are now officially “at war” (with the help of Crowdrise) to raise money for two charities. #TeamCarter are supporting Stomp Out Bullying while #TeamSHIELD is supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. They’ve even got their own Twitter account. So how is this going to work? Crowdrise explains:
You be the judge in our 3 round Dubsmash war for charity. Win a trip for you and a guest to Hollywood to have lunch with Hayley, Clark, James & Chloe and star in a Dubsmash video with them! Every dollar you donate is 1 vote for your favorite team and 1 entry to win. The more you vote the better your odds will be.
There’s going to be three rounds in total and all the fun begins September 2nd!
