Is this a Lazarus Pit?

Over the weekend, pictures emerged from the set of Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises that could perhaps indicate a Lazarus Pit being created.

The shots were taken in India where they were shooting on location. You can see the crew spreading out a green screen in that enclosed area. It could turn out to be any number of things of course but with the Batman mythos as it is, Ra’s al Ghul could be returning from his “death” in Nolan’s first film, Batman Begins.

However, with actor Josh Pence added to the cast as a young Ra’s this could just play into a backstory of his. Then again, why bother delving into Ra’s backstory if it and/or the pit isn’t going to play a part in the present-day plot? Hmmm….
The Dark Knight Rises is set for a July 20, 2012 release.

It's the pit. It may be a flashback, it may be 'present day,' but I am certain the Lazarus pit will get it's due in The Dark Knight Rises.

Even the name of the film implies resurrection!

For a moment I thought it was a preparation for a stunt for next year's Kids Choice Awards. Slime ensues!
