Megalyn Echikunwoke to Bring Animated Vixen to Life on CW’s Arrow
Megalyn Echikunwoke, who voices DC character Vixen for the CW Seed series, is officially set to play her in live-action on Arrow!

After voicing the character of Vixen in the CW Seed’s cartoon web series of the same name this summer, actress Megalyn Echikunwoke is set to unleash the comic-book character—whose non-hero name is Mari McCabe—on Arrow, TVInsider.com has learned exclusively.
“We’re not only thrilled to be further expanding our DC television universe by bringing in the live-action incarnation of the CW Seed hit, Vixen, we’re immensely excited that Megalyn will be revisiting her role as Mari McCabe,” says Marc Guggenheim, executive producer of both shows.

TV Insider says shes’s likely to appear in the 15th episode this season which will air February 24th, after it returns from its midseason break.

So freaking excited for this. I CW changes their minds on the whole ‘no more spinoffs’ thing and gives her a solo show. I also hope she gets a costume that’s more interesting that the brown bodysuit she had in the cartoon; she’s a fashion designer, she needs a good looking, fashionable super costume.
