DoubleDCoverage #13

I’m back with this week’s installment of DoubleDCoverage at the Girls Entertainment Network!

I love Batman as much as the next girl (actually, more) but do we really need another book to tell us what happens on the streets of Gotham? Plus everything you’ve always wanted to know about the Ultra-Humanite and one thing you wish you didn’t. Reviews for Batman: Streets of Gotham #1 and Power Girl #2 are ahead, also, check out my star ratings for my other pulls from last Wednesday!

  1. Well actually it's 9 pages Randy. :P But I feel the same way.

Yeah it is different from what's recently been told but they let them do it so hopefully they liked it so much they wanted to make this the true story. We'll see.

I'm not a big continuity guy. I'm really not.

But isn't this take on UH contrary to what's been written even in the recent versions of JSA?

Just seems weird, is all I'm saying. I remember the scene where Wildcat, Nemesis and Black Canary come across the dead husk of the white ape body with UH's brain missing. Did he find another super-strong white ape?

It is such a shame that Manhunter has been reduced to a 5-page back-up. I think if THIS had been the premise when the series returned for issue 31, the title would still be alive today.

Cancel Streets of Gotham and give Kate Spencer a try again.
