Am I the only one who already hates hal jordan? I mean he is a smug, bossy, arrogant ass. But hes not obvious about it like sinestro so you get it. Hes just kind of a dick. And I know thats how hes written but youd think theyd not write him like that anymore. I now get why he was pegged as the one to be a villain way back when. I read some old issues and before rebirth he was just a villain. His continuity then was that he was evil. I hope he goes evil again or they make some changes because Id rather run with a red or yellow lantern than a green under how jordan is written now any day.
Well, my figuring is that this team is pretty much just killing time until Brightest Day is over. Then you're going to see all the big guns from the Silver Age JLA come back.
I do see what you mean in a sense, but I was talking with a friend of mine and I was saying that at least Robinson is making the most of who he seems to be allowed to use.
I happen to like the interaction of Batman, Donna Troy, Mik and Bill. It's an interesting dynamic of fresh faces. I think Jade and Jesse Quick are going to be good additions as well.
I think the team is definitely better off than it was under McDuffie. I know that there seem to be limitations on who the writes can use or whatever but there seems to me to be more a semblance that Robinson is at least making the most of it and trying to make the book the best he can under the circumstances.
McDuffie seemed to be just phoning it in. And mind you I also am an alum of the 90s JLA stuff when Gerard Jones had Crimson Fox, pregnant Power Girl, Nuklon and Obsidian on the team.

I'm sorry Randy, it's just not doing it for me. I don't like the new team first off. Second, they aren't even the complete new team team yet.
I also think Robinson is favoring lesser-known characters like Bill at the expense of the group. We know he likes him and Mik but bring them in organically, don't just shove them in because you like them. None of it feels natural to me.
Why are you hating on JLA every month??
