I need your help with the 2012 MDA Muscle Walk!
It’s that time of year again. The MDA Muscle Walk is here!
Last year’s NJ/NY Metro Muscle Walk to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association (of which I am afflicted) was a huge success! Myself and my friends and family team, The Nerdy Birds, went well past our personal fundraising goal with the entire event raising over $190,000 towards research and programs for MDA.
The event is taking place March 11, once again at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. We had a lot of fun last year (in part thanks to Batman!).
EDIT: There’s been some people using the paypal donate button on the right of my blog to give money to the walk. Please be aware, that is NOT the link to donate to MDA. The link to do that is the hyperlinked “online fundraising page” that follows this sentence. My team’s online fundraising page is set up for secure donations. Remember, ANY amount you can donate is a good amount! I’ve set our team goal for $3,000 and my personal goal for $1,000. I know with your help we can make it happen. If you don’t have money to spare right now, please help my spreading the word about the walk! Everyone can make a difference. :)
