Iron Chef’s Chairman Joins Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD
Actor Mark Dacascos, best known as the Chairman on the Iron Chef competition series, is joining ABC’s Agents of SHIELD.
Deadline had the scoop writing, “Dacascos will play Giyera, the head of security for S.H.I.E.L.D.” About time they got some better security if you ask me and Dacascos is certainly up for the job.
The actor has had a lengthy career including roles in Double Dragon, Mortal Kombat: Legacy, and Hawaii Five-0. He even competed on Dancing with the Stars! But he also happens to be a champion martial artist and I’m sure that will come in handy for this new role which Deadline notes will be recurring.
