NBC’s Powerless failed to draw a big enough crowd and was cancelled in May but as a tribute to the late Adam West, they’ve released an un-aired episode he featured in.

The show starred Vanessa Hudgens and Danny Pudi and was focused on a security company (Wayne Security) that inventing things for regular humans to use to ward off harm during superhero/villain fights. West provided the voice of a narrator in one episode but played Chairman West in the un-aired episode, “Win, Luthor, Draw.”

Adam West, Batman to a generation of TV fans, passed away last week. One of his final roles was a fittingly comic guest role on NBC’s Powerless in an episode which never made it to air. DC All Access is proud to present this episode in its entirety for a limited time as a tribute to West and his DC legacy.

Might be a good watch this weekend. And here’s a shot my brother took at the lighting of the Bat-signal tribute to West last night in Los Angeles.

Great tribute to Adam West at LA City Hall last night. #batman #brightknight #adamwest #batsignal

  1. It’s really bittersweet that we had to lose Adam West before they released another episode of Powerless. Damn Monkey’s Paw!

See, I only saw one episode of Powerless—the one where they’re trapped by gas—so I was thinking “I’m so glad they announced that new Batman ’66 cartoon so that lame sitcom isn’t his last work!” ;-P
