I knew I wasn’t going to get around to posting the new Wonder Woman film images as a separate article today so I figured, why not make them the focus of Speak, Nerd, and Enter!?
Entertainment Weekly, once again, has the exclusive on the Warner Bros. film from Patty Jenkins.

THEY SAID THEY WERE ADDING SCENES WITH BABS TO GIVE HER MORE CHARACTER, JILL. Instead they just added one more layer to the already heaping pile of Bruce’s Bat-angst. I was never going to see this movie, but I still feel immensely betrayed. Why do they keep doing this? Why is it so hard to get one minor C-level hero right? I’m not asking for much, just don’t keep screwing over my favorite character…
Well I normally get review copies of the WB animated movies so I’m holding back until I can have real thoughts. But seriously, once this goes wide the internet is going to meltdown.
Yeah yeah, journalistic integrity and all that. They tell me that at my new newspaper job when I want to photoshop more background onto a photo to make it fit better. “But I’m not a journalist, I’m page layout! Why do I have to follow their integrity?” ;-P
I hope you’re right, but I suspect their target audience won’t care. Marvel Netflix teasers!!!!! They were all amazing – though I am sad we got a teaser for DD3 instead of JJ2, further pushing it back in the timeline (it seems it’ll be LC -> IF -> Defenders ->DD3).

Well, our webcomic was NOT selected by Hiveworks, probably due to the first chapter’s convoluted timetable and artist turn-around. I wouldn’t be shocked if they thought, “This guy must be a complete a-hole.” The artist is disappoint…and so am I. But on the plus side, this week’s page features the protag getting paintballed in the eye, which is exactly how I feel about it. http://www.starfallwebcomic.com They’ll be sorry! :O That would be amazingness, but after the Felicity debacle I’m not getting my hopes up.
Im really looking forward to the Wonder Woman movie. ^^ This director sounds really awesome and im hoping for some solid characterization.
Just speaking for me personally, the very-recent STRANGER THINGS hype is very, very real. It’s 8 hours of Spielberg/King mashed up in a blender with some really cool weird fiction-y elements. All supported by possibly the most uniformly great cast I’ve seen in a Netflix show— everyone, even the kids (the KIDS!) are great, with the main two kids and Winona Ryder (20+ year crush, rekindled) kicking the majority of the ass on the show. The less you know going in, the better, but set aside the time. Well, well worth it.
I have a few more episodes to go but I am LOVING it.
It’s so, so good. I legitimately choked up during the final two episodes.

I’m warming up to Gal Gadot a lot, but I can’t say I’m warming up to the costume. I still want brighter, redder, bluer, a less armored more gentle look, no sword as part of the default costume, cleaner bracelets, and a real tiara.

Rita gave Trini up for adoption to shield her from Rita’s enemies, and now Zordon has recruited Trini in the hopes of turning her against Rita.
