Sorry things have been so quiet around here lately. Holiday madness is to blame but also some life stuff. In case you were wondering, the top pic I chose this time around comes from the 2012 film Vamps starring Sigourney Weaver, Krysten Ritter, and Alicia Silverstone. It’s terrible, don’t watch it. But apparently some folks were passing off a behind-the-scenes shot as a first image from Marvel’s The Defenders. Don’t believe the hype, it will come soon enough.

Finally saw Doctor Strange. I read some of his early issues ages ago, so I knew enough to appreciate how faithful they were able to be. Had to wrack my brain for a bit to figure out how the Eye of Agamotto fit with the Infinity Stone T.H.A.N.O.S. Theory, but I finally got it: Necklace.
Was hoping to see Fantastic Beasts this weekend, but my friends couldn’t get a babysitter and apparently taking a two-year-old to the movie/leaving her by herself weren’t an option, so instead we hung out at their place and I played a few episodes of DC Superhero Girls and MLP:FiM for the kid on my iPad. Oh, I am gonna corrupt her in all the right ways… :D
I bought a Wonder Woman picture book for my friend’s daughter and made a superhero fan out of her; the parents are unsure of what to do, because they’re big Star Wars people, but they were not prepared for superheroes.
Oh yeah, this kid’s getting a pile of kiddie superhero and Star Wars books and MLP comics for Christmas. HOW terrible is Vamps? Like, worth watching once or…?
I won’t be sticking a reminder that I have a webcomic ya’all might like here…because it’s currently on hiatus while we get a side project together, my friend and artist, Val, pulls in extra hours at work, and I cry because the further from the comic I am the sadder I get.
I wouldn’t even watch it.
