Batman’s Wayne Enterprises Hires The Nerdy Bird to Protect the Enviornment!

Those of you who follow The Nerdy Bird on social media might have already heard the news but I’m a Wayne Enterprises executive in Jake Black and Luciano Vecchio’s Attack of the Man-Bat!, a new Batman comic chapter book. Excited doesn’t even begin to cover it.

So how did this happen? Well I’ve known Jake for several years now and a while back he told me he was writing a book in Capstone’s DC Heroes series. He asked if it would be ok to use my name for a character and I told him “Absolutely OK!” (I’m certainly not one to give up the chance to be near Batman.)

Fast forward about a year and I was over the moon to find out not only was I a character, I was also depicted in the book (Batman the Animated Series style) by Vecchio and traveling to Brazil with Bruce Wayne as the executive in charge of environmental protections for Wayne Enterprises.

Here’s the description of the book:

Bruce Wayne is in the rainforests of Brazil, but theres trouble in the local villages — people are disappearing! Corporate developers are tearing down the forest, and a legend tells of giant bat creature that will defend the plant life from those who would destroy it. Batman takes up the case, and he soon finds out the strange goings-on are more than just folklore — its Man-Bat and Posion Ivy!
