New Rogue One TV Spots: Save the Rebellion, Save the Dream

Last time they reminded us hope was important, this time they want us to remember to dream. Two new Rogue One: A Star Wars Story TV spots are here to get us hyped for December 18.

“It is an ensemble movie but at the heart of it is a strong woman,” said director Gareth Edwards in a recent featurette (that also did a great job of explaining where this film falls in Star Wars canon). I know December 18th is close but it feels so far away!! I feel like so many of us need this film right now.

Here’s another spot that sort of, but not really, focuses on Jyn and Cassian played by Felicity Jones and Diego Luna.

And in case you missed the news, elsewhere in the Star Wars universe, Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke has joined the Han Solo film and Ben Schwartz voicing BB-8 is freaking adorable.

  1. I’m a little bummed that it looks like all the cool new characters are part of the mission team, which means they’ll probably all end up dead.
