Watched the new WB animated film last night, Teen Titans: The Judas Contract. It was ok but didn’t do much for me. The story felt a bit lacking and I didn’t really get roped in emotionally. But bonus Blue Beetle for my collection!

=_= Spent all weekend with my feverish wife. No Easter for us. I painted the basement, though? Only ruined two T-shirts, a button-up, a pair of boxers, and three socks.
Also, the artist I’m working with on Starfall made some really frigging great art just for our patrons but since there’s NO crossover between people on there and people I talk to on here (cue my honest, silent weeping), I figured I could share it without giving anything away for free.
*_* I want to buy the original.

It was astounding.
The biggest dollop came after I ascended a ladder and discovered I’d left the roller down the stairs. So, I situate the paint tray pretty firmly (or so I thought), head down the ladder, down the stairs, grab the roller…and, upon ascending, I made one-too many vibrations. The paint tray dislodged, flipped down like a Jacob’s ladder, splashing paint in both directions, then landed on the top stair and splashed in every other direction, just to make sure everything was thoroughly covered. My wife ran to the cellar door, looked down…

Interwuzzle sources claim the title has been cancelled for low sales. WHAT? How can
you ignore the perfect combo of Aaron Sparrow & James Silvani? If you love the cartoon & its other comic incarnations, you need this series to live your best possible life! The biggest change is Drake Mallard swapped his trademark turquoise turtleneck for a collared shirt & tie. Sparrow even has the next two issues written, but is waiting on approval from Joe Books. How are they not promoting this wondrous parody during the superhero boom? So if you’ve not taken my recommendation yet, you need to send Disney & Joe Books a message by buying Darkwing Duck! If your Disney loving pals don’t even know this comic exists, spread the word! Let’s get dangerous!
I missed a great lot of this week’s nerdery, by virtue of donating a kidney to my sister-in-law. It would figure that it’s the same week as Star Wars Celebration, lol. So, thankful that this article exists to catch me up, somewhat!

I didn’t know I wanted gothed-out Cate Blanchett til I saw this trailer, and now I’m not sure I want anything else.
