No, I didn’t watch Iron Fist but the first trailer for Marvel and Netflix’s The Defenders has me excited for Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage cracking wise.
Marvel’s The Defenders follows Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Iron Fist (Finn Jones). A quartet of singular heroes with one common goal – to save New York City. This is the story of four solitary figures, burdened with their own personal challenges, who realize they just might be stronger when teamed together. The Netflix original series will launch globally on August 18, 2017.
We got a non-footage teaser at SDCC last year, then that fun viral video, but this is our first actual look at The Defenders in action and I’m digging it. I will say though that I hope after this series they stop trying to up the ante on the hallway fights and come up with the next fun idea.
This trailer made me realize how much I miss Jessica. :(

Honestly…this looks like it doesn’t tie in to Iron Fist at ALL.
If I watched that shit show for NOTHING, I’m going to be pretty POed.
But Jessica Jones is back! Matt did his whole “Don’t Talk to My Client” thing that I love him for in the comics! I am so excited!
And Claire Temple, whose superpower is being sick of everyone’s shit.
